Building Bridges Through Youth Entrepreneurship

3 Day Startup is pleased to present the Building Bridges Through Youth Entrepreneurship in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy, Canberra. This initiative is designed to help young, emerging entrepreneurs in Adelaide, Australia gain the skills, knowledge, and network to tackle a real-world challenge through starting a venture while learning about its sister city Austin, Texas by exploring its entrepreneurial ecosystem and cultural contexts.

Program Details

With an engaging curriculum that combines immersive learning with virtual workshops and tours, 40 Australian participants will learn the essential building blocks of creating a successful business venture and how to craft unique business models to solve real world issues, while learning about the American styles of entrepreneurship.

  • Learn strategies and methodologies employed by successful startups
  • Develop tactics to effectively assess business opportunities
  • Explore the realities of US, Texas, and Austin
  • Build your network of American entrepreneurs and, 
  • Meet and learn alongside fellow Adelaidians and American students

The program will take place from the evening of May 14th to the afternoon of May 23rd, 2021. The weekend days of the 15th, 16th, 22nd, and 23rd are the hands-on innovation lab and cultural tours. The 17th of May to the 21st of May will be for self-paced venture work and cultural engagement opportunities on participants’ own time.

Application Details

South Australians ages 18-29 living in the Adelaide area who are interested in learning more about entrepreneurship, innovation, and the Austin business and cultural scene are encouraged to apply. University enrollment not required.

About 3 Day Startup
